Our next West Jordan emergency preparedness Citizen Readiness Corps event will be on August 27th, at 7 pm, at West Jordan City Hall Community Room on the first floor (8000 S Redwood Rd). Guests and topic: Jeff Mulcahy, City of West Jordan Emergency Manager, will discuss Could Someone Hack Our Water? Jeff will talk about the growing number of cyberattacks targeting water and wastewater systems across the country and around the world, why water infrastructure is a target, what a successful attack could mean for a community, and—most importantly—what this means for West Jordan’s water infrastructure and security.
