Haymaker Film Festival 2026

Haymaker Film Festival is Utah’s only film festival dedicated to showcasing action cinema, filmmakers, and stunt performers. Returning to Salt Lake City for a two-day run at Brewvies Cinema Pub, this one-of-a-kind cinematic event is something you won’t find anywhere else in the Rocky Mountain region. The official programming for 2026 contains over 20 films from across the globe, from local Utah projects to international films from Kazakhstan, France, and beyond. Highlighting a range of brand-new films, the feature lineup includes Mary Magnum: Jiu-Jitsu Nun (a grindhouse-inspired action comedy) and SuperCourier (a Kazakh homage to Jackie Chan’s classic screwball comedies). This year’s wide selection of short films showcase the incredible range of the genre, moving from wordless martial arts slapstick (Shaolin Office) and existential rumination (BOX), to blood-pumping horror crossovers (We Are All Monsters). And, new for 2026, Haymaker Film Festival will feature a Utah Filmmaker Spotlight block containing shorts from three Utah filmmakers followed by an extended Q&A session.
