Timpanogos Chamber Music Concert - Woodwinds, Piano, and Voice
Presented by Timpanogos Chamber Music, this concert features the Meadowlark Chamber Music Society with guest artists Dr. Melissa Heath, soprano, and Dr. Carmen Hall, piano. The varied program journeys from the shimmering beauty of Debussy’s Beau Soir and the rushing energy of Ewazen’s Roaring Fork to the wit of Madeleine Dring, the fiery rhythms of Piazzolla’s Libertango, and powerful works by Émile Paladilhe, John Adams, Jeff Scott, and Corinne Judd. Together, the selections explore themes of beauty, love, nature, freedom, history, and the human experience. The Meadowlark Chamber Music Society unites five accomplished Utah-based wind players—Rachel Christensen, flute; Jeralee Johnson, oboe; Rebekah Kjar, clarinet; Corinne Judd, horn; and Jessi Vandagriff, bassoon—whose collective experience spans orchestral, chamber, and contemporary performance across four continents. Their credits include performances at Carnegie Hall, David Geffen Hall, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, international tours with the Orchestra at Temple Square, and appearances with ensembles including the Utah Symphony and Ballet West. Active as educators, commissioners of new music, and community leaders, the members of Meadowlark bring exceptional artistry and a shared commitment to musical excellence and meaningful community engagement.
